If you asked me earlier in the year how I felt about books with vampire, I’d probably tell you that I’m a little burnt out. I have always loved supernatural stories and I’ve always loved vampires, but certain books with sparkly vampires kind of ruined them for me.

Until…

Until Kristen Strassel wrote Because the Night. I was privileged enough to get an advanced readers copy of the book and let me tell you… WOW. This book is amazing. The pacing is fantastic. The writing it superb. And you bet your behind if I have a new favorite protagonist.

The good news is that the book is out soon. In fact, it’s out on November 5th, 2013.
